Greenfield ramps up comprehensive plan update

It takes a strong plan for a community to move forward effectively, and that plan can only be as strong as its community’s input.

As the City of Greenfield updates its comprehensive plan, it is seeking feedback from residents and community members.

The comprehensive plan serves as a 20-year guide for Greenfield’s future development, addressing key aspects like land use, transportation, housing, economic development, and community facilities. This community-driven document outlines goals, policies and strategies to direct decision-making and improve quality of life for residents.

Dozens of Greenfield community members visited the Hancock County Public Library on April 1, 2024 to learn more about and participate in the planning effort. Attendees took part in various activities calling for them to identify strengths, weaknesses, and wishes for the community.
