VIDEO: Civic Circle 2024 kicks off

Civic Circle 2024 from the Community Foundation of Hancock County is off and rolling! 

The program offers eight robust sessions to prepare emerging and seasoned leaders for civic service and community engagement. Civic Circle is part of the Community Foundation's Talent Pathway, which features seven modules tailored to teach concepts and skills to community members whose civic involvement ranges from new to experienced.

Hancock Economic Development Council Community Development Manager Erica Boswell and Communications Director Mitchell Kirk are enrolled in the program, and excited to learn all it has to offer. HEDC Executive Director Randy Sorrell completed Civic Circle last year.

The first session featured presentations from Bryan Richards, Founder of Envisioneurs; David Terrell, founding Executive Director of the Indiana Communities Institute and the RUPRI Center for Local and State Policy at Ball State University; and Christine Owens, Cumberland Assistant Town Manager.
