Hancock Economic Development Council Executive Director Randy Sorrell is more well rounded after completing Civic Circle from the Community Foundation of Hancock County.
Civic Circle offers eight robust sessions to prepare emerging and seasoned leaders for civic service and community engagement. The program is part of the Community Foundation's Talent Pathway, which features seven modules tailored to teach concepts and skills to community members whose civic involvement ranges from new to experienced.
The more engaged leaders are, the better a community will be, and the HEDC is grateful for all the Community Foundation does toward this important objective.
The Community Foundation currently has three course offerings:
- Be A Civic Superhero!
- Civic Circle 2024
- Community Development Course
