252 communities get slice of $207M in state road funding

Cities, towns, and counties across Indiana received a piece of over $207 million through the Community Crossings matching grant program to improve their roads and infrastructure, the state announced Wednesday.

In total, 252 communities received matching funds through the spring round.

“Year after year, Indiana’s local Community Crossings program enables hundreds of critically important infrastructure improvements to happen,” Gov. Eric Holcomb said in a news release. “I cannot overstate the transformative significance of this program and the positive impacts it has throughout our cities, towns and counties across the Hoosier State known as the Crossroads of America.”
