The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), using a grant funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), has contracted Purdue MEP to help 50 Indiana small businesses get to CMMC L1! In about 8 months, DoD will require a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 1 self-assessment to receive Federal Contract Information (FCI) in DoD contracts as a pre-award requirement. Currently, certain federal contracts list FAR 52.20-21 as a requirement to receive FCI. The 15 required cybersecurity controls are the same for FAR 52.204-21 and CMMC L1.
We will review:
- The DoD/federal government cyber contracting requirements to receive federal contract information (FCI).
- An overview of the 15 controls covered by FAR 52.204-21/CMMC L1.
- CMMC L1 grant program funded by IEDC/SBA.
Who should attend:
Indiana small business leaders/owners who want to protect their businesses with basic information security controls, and/or who want to pursue DoD/federal contracts.
